Manchester United has been on the tail of Brazil international Antony since the appointment of Erik ten Hag as their new manager. The Red Devils have now reached an agreement in principle with Ajax for the winger.
Antony will be a new addition to the Manchester United side this season after the arrival of Tyrell Malacia, Christian Eriksen, Lisandro Martinez, and Casemiro this summer.
Antony's deal comes with a lot of positives and also some negatives for some players at the club. The playing chances of some of the players currently at the club would be affected especially the wingers.
1 Anthony Elanga
The Swedish winger started the last two games for Manchester United and was influential in the first half against Liverpool. The arrival of Antony this summer will affect Elanga's progress in the team and will move him down the pecking order.
2 Amad Diallo
The Ivory Coast international is yet to break into Erik ten Hag's lineup, and with the arrival of Antony, the former Atalanta forward could go out on loan again this season to get enough playing time.
3 Anthony Martial
The France international will see his chances limited when Antony arrives this summer. The former Sevilla striker is battling injuries recently and could lose his place in the team.
